Abtastic HIIT Workout

Finals week. Enough said.

I dont have much time to workout as I need to be studying for all my tests. Luckily only 2 more left, Ive already taken 4 which is why I havent posted anything for a while. After this mornings test, I decided I needed to have a little destressor before studying for my next two exams. HIIT workouts are great because they are quick, fast, down and dirty and get the job done. Today's workout was a HIIT that focused a little more on core. Because I havent worked out in a little bit, I decreased the time to 45:15 instead of the usual 50:10 but the whole workout is still just 20 minutes and you can adjust on/off times to your fitness level. Here goes:

Abtastic HIIT Workout

45 sec work, 15 sec rest



  • Burpees no pushup
  • Up/Down Plank
  • Burpees no PU
  • Up/Down Plank
  • High knees
  • Side plank with elbow to opp knee-right
  • High knees
  • Side plank with elbow to opp knee-left
  • Jump squats
  • Single leg bridges-right
  • Jump squats
  • Single leg bridges-left
  • Standing froggies
    • Stand with hands behind head, elbows out. Bring knee to same side elbow and then switch back and forth, you will get a rhythm going and its sort of a 'hop' while youre doing it
  • Plank bird dogs
    • plank on hands, lift arm and opposite leg and switch back and forth
  • Standing froggies
  • Plank bird dogs
  • Jumping lunges
  • Side plank with leg lift right
  • Jumping lunges
  • Side plank with leg lift left
