Arms and Core

I had a visit with my rheumatologist yesterday for my knee and I got an injection of hylauronic acid. So for 24-48 hours Im not supposed to do anything too strenuous, mostly on my legs that is, so I decided to do an arms and abs workout tonight. I wasnt feeling all that motivated and wanted something quick so I just threw a little something together. Everything in this workout is 15 reps unless otherwise noted. Try to move from one exercise to the next with as little rest as possible.

  • Pushups with knee to elbow(16 total to keep it even)
  • Toe touches
  • Decline Pushups
  • Reverse crunches
  • Sidelying tricep pushups-Right
  • L side plank with knee crunch(crunch the top knee to your elbow thats up)
  • Sidelying tricep pushup-Left
  • R side plank with knee crunch
  • Scapular pushups(pushup position but just let your upper body sink down between your arms and then pushup up to round your back, moving your shoulder blades)
  • Bicycles
  • Back and forth side plank on hands
  • Supermans
  • Up and down planks
  • Butterfly crunches
  • Tricep pushups
  • 1 min plank
  • Clap pushups
  • Straight leg raises
  • Dive bombers(start with your butt up in the air, as you do your pushup go straight towards your hands keeping butt in air, then act like youre sliding yourself under a low fence and come up on the otherside into an upward dog position, and then reverse the motion(going back under the fence the other way))
  • V-ups
  • Tricep dips
  • Snow angels(lying on the ground, act like youre making a snow angel keeping your arms and legs off the ground)
